It's a ........Bull Calf!!
Hazel had a bull calf on 01/03/26. We know he is A2/A2 milk, dun, and polled. We will test for polled status (homo or hetero) and coat genetics in the coming months. He was 47.3 lbs at birth, so a nice large calf. He is very stocky with thick legs and a nice wide stance and looks like he is going to be a dark chocolate dun color. We will know more in the coming weeks.

Meet Lucky 7 Felicity - aka Ellie
We decided to diversify our blood lines a little more, so we brought in this new heifer. She is only 9 months old now, but we will add her to our breeding lineup in the future. We like her thick body, pretty head, and nice straight legs. We know she is hetero polled but will have to have the other genetics tested.
It's A ....... Heifer Calf!
Olive had her calf 12/11/25. We expect her to be fairly large as both dam and sire are on the large side for Dexters. She is a lovely calf - very healthy and full of energy. She has really grown quickly and is full of curiosity and independence.
It looks like Georgie will be a lighter dun color. She is well proportioned with a pretty head, good legs, and a nice thick body. She is heterogenous polled.
I haven't been able to get a photo that does her justice yet - she is really stunning. We will probably retain her for our breeding program.
