2027 Calving Plan

Hazel gave us a very nice bull calf this year with Neo, so we decided to repeat the cross for 2027.  This calf is expected around the end of Mar/early Apr.   The calf will be dun and will have A2 milk. We will post pictures when it arrives.    

Sadie has already given us two amazing heifer calves, and we are looking forward to her 2027 calf with anticipation.  Bred to Ned, this calf will be homozygous polled and carry dun.  We expect the calf in late Mar/early Apr. 

This will be Mazie's first calf, and we expect it sometime in late Mar/early Apr.  The calf will be dun (or a slight chance it could be red with 2 copies of the dun gene), homozygous polled, and A2 milk.  We are anxious to see how this cross turns out.

We plan to breed Ellie to Ned for a late April 2027 calf.  We know the calf will be polled and A2 milk and more than likely dun.  There is a slight chance it could be red with 2 copies of the dun gene.  We are anxious to see this cross as well since this calf will be part of Ned's first calf crop. 

Although still a while off, we plan to breed Olive Ann to Ned for a Dec 2027 calf this March.  The calf will be polled, dun, and A2 milk.  This calf will be the first 2nd generation calf born on our farm.

We will hold off on breeding Country Girl until we breed Olive Ann so there will be 2 calves in December 2027.  This calf will be polled, A2 milk, and carry dun.
